Ok Club dive center works all year around with the only day off – January, 1.
We are glad to see you from 9 to 18.
We take care about saving your time during your rest in Dahab, this is why we try to approach the organization of your dives in our dive center with maximum rationality.
For divers staying in hotels distant from the Masbat area we organize transfers. Please, pay attention to the transfers schedule:

We ask you not to be late, otherwise the car will leave without you because sometimes one car sequentially picks up divers from different hotels.
All trips to the diving sites start from 9 am. The transfer brings you from the hotel to the dive center where you prepare your equipment for the dive. Then you head to the dive site.
The time of the night dive is fixed. During winter it starts at 18.00, during summer at 19.30
You can use the return transfer to the hotel that is at 17.30. Just sign for it at the counter.
We always take in to account your wishes when choosing the dive sites for the next day. Consult you dive guide the evening before the day you want to dive. Sometimes there may be changes in the plan depending on the weather conditions. The day before the one you want to dive please let your guide know if you require 15 lt tanks, nitrox, torches or any other additional equipment.
We have an equipment rental in our dive center, where you could rend either a full set for diving or snorkeling or the missing items.
If you are taking courses in Ok Club remember that the equipment rental is already included into the course cost.
The dive center provides you with personal lockers for keeping your equipment and personal things, and pools and wracks for washing your equipment. Use the plastic box that is in every locker for storing masks, snorkels, regulators and the rest of smaller equipment items. For boots, BCDs, suits there is a special wrack in the open air. When diving in the Red sea – the saltiest one after the Dead Sea, it is extremely important to carefully wash the BCD inflator. Otherwise you surely in a couple of days will have to cope with the jammed inflating button on your BCD. In the pools for the equipment there are little sections with especially well distilled water, wash not only masks and regulators there but as well the inflator blocks.
Weight belts with chosen individually for you number of weights we ask you to put in the locker after using. Do not leave them outside otherwise they will be certainly taken into pieces. Do not put the weight belt in to the plastic box; it may brake under the heaviness. Treat other divers with respect – do not block the pools with your equipment and put your things to dry straight after washing.
Remember that you carry the responsibility for the rented equipment, that is why we ask you to wash and dry it in due time, close the first stage of the regulator before washing, wash the BCD inflator, put fragile items into the locker. To hand back the rented equipment wash and hang it on the special wrack with the “Check out” sign and leave the box with the regulator, mask and fins near.
Practically all dives in Dahab are from the shore. Trips to dive sites that are out of Masbat area are done by car. Each diver collects his equipment in to a box before he leaves and is responsible for loading his box in and off the car.
Our dive center is equipped with showers with hot water and lavatories. You can have a rest in the cozy chill out on the back yard and on the roof of the dive center.
If you want to order food and drinks in the dive center, please, take care that the restaurant staff clean up after you finish eating.
If you are a certified diver but didn’t dive for the past 6 months you will be required to do a check dive. Also the check dive is a must for divers of OWD level that do not have experience in diving in open water except for the four dives that where in the course program.
After you defined your diving or study plans, equipment rental etc please, let our administrator know and do the pre-payment. The final payment is done after you finish diving in OK club.
There are the following recommendations existing in Dahab for certified divers: for divers of OWD level the maximum depth is 18-20 meters. For AOWD level – 30 meters, if you have the Deep specialty – 40 meters. All the following depths are open only for technical divers and are established according to your level.
The dive is over if you have 50 Bar left in the tank.
The obligatory safety stop is 3 minutes at a depth of 5 meters.
Taking drugs and alcohol is incompatible with diving!!!
Always follow the buddy-partner system.
We ask you not to go ahead or deeper than your dive guide. This way the guide will not be able to control you; you run the risks and lower the safety of your dive.
In Dahab all the coast line that is 50 meters in to the sea is considered the national park, a reserved area. This means you are diving into the underwater nature museum. Due to what you have the depth limits for recreational divers and you can do all the dives only accompanied by a certified dive guide.
Attention! It is forbidden to touch whatever underwater, to break the corals, to collect their fragments, shells, feed or tease fish and other inhabitants. Please, pay attention to the stream-lining of your equipment, so all the items are fixed correctly. Preserve the reefs; do not allow damaging them with heavy consoles or other loose hanging items of your equipment.
Our policy is – taking care about the environment. If you support our aspiration to preserve the underwater world of the Red sea in its state of nature, help us. If during the dive you see garbage in the corals or on the bottom especially plastic bags and bottles, collect it, this will not cause you much effort but will show your kind attitude to the underwater. Consult your guide regarding which garbage may and may not be collected.
